We’ll start with a call or coffee chat where I learn all about you, what lights you up, how you envision your day, and what moments matter most. I will take notes, and offer my suggestions based on my experience. This is the time where I will answer all your questions so you feel comfortable that you were heard and your vision was shared.

After our initial meeting, I’ll help you find the perfect location (even those hidden gems), handle all permits ( if needed), suggest trusted vendors, and build a custom timeline that’s relaxed yet intentional so you never feel rushed. This timeline is just a way to ensure we get everything you were wanting in a way that is not rushed and feels intentional. Keep in mind that things change, weather sometimes does not corporate or things out of our control may change our plan, but this is why hiring an expert is so beneficial.
02
On the day(s) of your elopement, I’ll be there to document every meaningful moment that we planned together from getting ready giggles to teary vows to your carefree dance at sunset. I’ll guide you when needed, and step back so you can just be yourselves. Once you have selected your collection, I'll send over a custom proposal with your contract and retainer to make it official. Your date is fully reserved once everything is signed and submitted.

Frankly, our day would have been a disaster without Cynthia! We had a small wedding, and on the day of, we literally had no idea what we were doing! Cynthia kept us on track and made a custom timeline, all while being extremely kind, patient, graceful and most importantly, very calm! Somehow, while she was doing all of this, she also captured the most beautiful pictures imaginable. We will cherish her as a person and her amazing work forever!
Some locations (like national parks and state parks) require a permit. I’ll guide you through exactly what you need for your chosen location.
Do we need a permit to elope in Colorado?
Yes! Colorado allows self-solemnizing, meaning you don’t need an officiant or witnesses, just the of you
Can we legally marry ourselves in Colorado?
Colorado weather can be unpredictable! I always have backup plans and flexible timing options to keep the day stress-free and beautiful.
What happens if the weather is bad on our elopement day?
Absolutely! Many couples choose intimate elopements with just the two of them, while others invite a small group. I’ll help you choose a location that suits your guest count.
Can we bring family or friends?
Most couples book 4–8 hours to capture everything from getting ready to sunset vows and epic portraits. I can help you figure out the best timeline!
How many hours of photography coverage do we need?
Yes! I offer location scouting, timeline assistance, permit guidance, and vendor recommendations to make your elopement easy and magical.
Do you help with planning?
I guide you gently into natural movement, allowing for effortless, emotive images that feel true to who you are.
Do you give direction during portraits?
I embrace whatever the day brings. Some of the most magical images are made in moody light, soft rain, or dramatic skies. If you are down to get your dress wet and dirty, I am too!!
